Spotlight Initiative, Jamaica Small Grants Application to support the expansion of technical substantive capacity of groups working on innovative programmes to end violence against women and girls (VAWG) in Jamaica.

The vision of the Spotlight Initiative (SI) is that the rights of women and girls to live free from violence are protected, promoted, and upheld. The impact that the SI will work towards achieving is that all women and girls, particularly those who are most vulnerable, live a life free of violence and harmful practices.

UN Women plans to award small grants to eligible Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) based in Jamaica to contribute to the Spotlight Initiative objectives to prevent and end family violence.

Grant Purpose: To support the expansion of technical substantive capacity of groups working on innovative programmes to end violence against women and girls (VAWG) in Jamaica.

Eligible Organisations: Civil society and other not-for-profit organisations in Jamaica working with youth, women and girls and other marginalised groups or addressing Family Violence and VAWG.

**NOTE: eligible organisations must be legally registered and operational for 3 or more years

Amount:
Individual or Joint Proposals: Ceiling of USD 30,000 (These grants will be disbursed in two tranches)

** Priority will be given to proposals for single disbursement small grants of USD 10,000
