Spotlight Multi Country (Grenada, Guyana, Trinidad & Tobago) - Call for Proposals (CFP 2021/05 ) For Civil Society Organisations

The UN Women Multi-Country Office (MCO) Caribbean under Pillar 6 is seeking to partner with Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) in Grenada, Guyana and Trinidad and Tobago, to provide technical and financial assistance on social accountability for women's rights groups. Groups that lead on shadow reporting processes will be prioritized.

- Provision of social accountability grants and technical assistance for women's rights/advocacy groups for activities including meaningful participation in national, regional and international accountability platforms/processes and to engage in the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW), the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW), Universal Periodic Review (UPR), International Conference on Population and Development (ICPD) and Committee on the Rights of the Child (CRC) processes. (Pillar 6, Activity 6.2.1 - 3 Grants at USD5,750 each – Grenada)
- Provision of social accountability grants for women's rights/advocacy groups for activities including meaningful participation in national accountability platforms/processes on family violence (Pillar 6, Activity 6.2.1 – 4 Grants at USD20,000 each, 4 grants at USD 8,000 each - Guyana)
- Provision of financial grants and technical assistance to women’s organisations and community-based organisations in the design and implementation of social accountability tools for service providers, and in particular the justice system (police and judiciary) and to engage in CEDAW, CSW, UPR and CRC processes. (Pillar 6, Activity 6.2.1 – 20 Grants at 8,950 each: Trinidad and Tobago)
