UN Women MCO Caribbean and The Lanterns at Hastings hold Orange Your Neighbourhood outreach activity

Bridgetown, Barbados - The United Nations Sub- Regional Team for Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean in partnership with “the Lanterns at Hastings” shopping centre held an “ Orange Your Neighbourhood” outreach for to the customers of the shopping centre in nearby vicinity to UN House.

Set up at the shopping centre for several hours, UN staff shared on the UNiTE Campaign and advocacy on efforts to identify and end EVAW in Barbados and the Caribbean. Shoppers were also given information on how they could take responsibility to bring an end to VAW and invited to take selfies to share on their social media spaces as a visual signal of their commitment to seeing an end to VAW and girls.
