UN Women welcomes the conviction of Bosco Ntaganda by the International Criminal Court (ICC) on 8 July 2019 for crimes committed in the Democratic Republic of the Congo in 2002 and 2003. UN Women today announced the appointment of American award-winning actor Anne Hathaway as global Goodwill Ambassador.
