Jamaica COMMITS to ending violence against women

Jamaica is among three new countries to join the COMMIT initiative, bringing the total number to 16. Jamaica has pledged to ratify CEDAW's Optional Protocol; Japan commits to a national plan to end gender violence with concrete policy measures; and Poland promises to ratify the Council of Europe Convention.
